Raised by his mom and dad, a Navy veteran, in St. James, NY, Terry entered his apprenticeship in Local 46 Metallic Lathers Union in 1981.

Terry worked in the field for twelve years and served on the Executive Board for 6 years. In 1993, Terry was elected Business Agent for Local 46 and worked in that role for 18 years. Terry was elected Business Manager in 2011 where he remained until 2019. During his time at Local 46, Terry served all of the Building Trades on many levels and through many campaigns.

Terry was elected President of the Bronx Board of Business Agents from 1995-1999 and President of The Manhattan Board of Business Agents from 2003-2011 where he worked with all of the trades to promote good union jobs and responsible development in New York City and the surrounding area.

Terry enjoyed his time working with many charitable organizations including the Boy Scouts of America and St Dominic’s Home in Blauvelt, NY. Terry was a proud Board Member at NEW, Nontraditional Employment for Women.

Terry received his college degree in Business Management from Dominican College in Blauvelt, NY. Terry resides with his family in Goshen, NY.
